Trying to cram all of this reading before school starts on Monday. Also looking for some inspiration for some writing.
Have you ever had that gracious moment when you’re about to get out of some place, but right before you do that one song comes on over the radio? The one that held such a sacred meaning to you for such a long time, even though the last time you heard it was so long ago. Once the melodic tune begins to flow within your ear canals a sudden burst of monumental moments starts to replay in your mind. The song played during your heartbreak, a life win, a lucky second lived, a near death experience, carried on the awkward silences of quiet lovers finding the right words within the song itself. When this happens I usually refuse to escape it. I welcome the song, along with whatever good or bad baggage it may carry. It hurts to remember but then again, it hurts to forget. I think to myself “wow, I never want this song to end” however in another thoughts place is the part of you that knows it will end. Just like those other moments with this special song, it of course will only be a moment. But who cares, because its happening at this very living moment. Chair reclined, A/C keeping me cool, eyes closed as I have this one recording in progress. It only stops of course when the music stops playing. But somehow, can it live on throughout?
