means a lot to you.
You can’t have ‘too many’ books.
Reading is awesome, which means that libraries are already awesome places because they enable people to read books. However the Kansas City Public Library is super awesome because a portion of the library’s parking garage has been decorated with an enormous trompe l’oeil mural that makes the wall look like shelf full of gigantic books. It’s called the Community Bookshelf:
"It runs along the south wall of the Central Library’s parking garage on 10th Street between Wyandotte Street and Baltimore Avenue. The book spines, which measure approximately 25 feet by 9 feet, are made of signboard mylar. The shelf showcases 22 titles reflecting a wide variety of reading interests as suggested by Kansas City readers and then selected by The Kansas City Public Library Board of Trustees."
Thanks to Snopes we even have a list of all of the books on the Community Bookshelf:
- Kansas City Stories
- Children’s Stories
- Silent Spring
- O Pioneers!
- 100 Years of Solitude
- Their Eyes Were Watching God
- Fahrenheit 451
- The Republic
- The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
- Tao Te Ching
- The Collected Poems of Langston Hughes
- Black Elk Speaks

It’s just four letters, but to Gus and Hazel, it’s forever.
You deserved to be loved the way you though couldn’t be possible. You deserved to make love with someone who truly can show it to you. You deserve kisses, much more passionate and real feeling than the ones seen in the movies. You deserve a life with little disappointments, as i hope the next person you find can provide to you the things your truly and wholeheartedly deserve.
have you ever experienced such a plot twist that you go to cover your mouth but you accidentally slap yourself in the face
never, ever, ever gonna get over that
I’m very sorry to hear that. But give your crush some space to cool down. Let them get themself together, then go back and settle things out.
After months of brutality, changes, and happiness I have finally finished writing my novel. This is dedicated to the youth of the world who continue to struggle everyday with acceptance and identification. To the youth thrown out of their homes because of how they identify as. To the adults who have grown past 18, still having some sight of pure equality in sight for the next generation and their own. This is my dedication to you. The lovers, believers, the dreamers, and life wanderers. May this novel one day grant you something it has granted me… Hope and the happiness to be so be. Never give up on yourself or your life. #LGBT #QueerPressureNovel #Writing
